Vca has 2 programs; the volunteer program and the internship program.

In the internship program projects include primarly secondary schools, training/education programs, and hospitals. ( For placement in hospitals specific requirements for education and/or work experience exist).

However Vca can also  find a specific project for you other than the projects stated below depending on your educational requirements and personal interests. In this case please tick ' internship other' on the appication and make sure to provide sufficient information about your education and what type of work experience you are interested in.

The internship program places volunteers in the following programs; ( For more information please also check working projects as this shows a list of each specific project).

Teaching Secondary School:
Secondary schools (Children with ages between 12-17 years). Subjects that the volunteer can
teach include Mathematics, English, Computer (soft and hardware), Technical, Social Sciences, Accounting, Business Management, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and other subjects

Training/development programs: Volunteers help with the organisation Giddev in the training, eduacation and empowerment of loca woman.

Health sector
Volunteers will be working in hospitals and clinics as a member of staff/ nurse or doctor-assistent. Their position depends on their work experience an level of progress in their medical education.
